This is a thread for readers to share old and useless objects they will never throw away. Text only, I’m afraid, but I’ll start with a photo of an object hanging in my office:
Not sure if this image opens. It is a poster for a now defunct think tank, the Canadian Foundation for the Americas, FOCAL. Old and useless one could say, and yet it was good to read Jennifer Ditchburn's paean to relevance of think tanks in the Hill Times last week, which made reference to FOCAL's good work. I was its Executive Director in a heady time of thinking that Canada could truly be a contributor to the Americas and hemispheric leadership. https://www.hilltimes.com/2022/04/11/when-emotion-is-king-do-think-tanks-still-matter

Do think tanks still matter?
