The heroes in Gaza have no choice and are mostly children and we can do something about them.

I'm more focused on Gaza where the US could have a huge influence if they wanted . Israel could end the war today and let in food and medical supplies in to save the people instead of forcing them to leave in what is at least ethnic cleansing and possibly genocide. Don't to be on that side of the war. In Ukraine it's become a war of attrition and Russia can last a lot longer. God still favors the large divisions. One man dies - is that a surprise in an arctic Gulag prison? - and suddenly the focus of the world is away from Gaza again. Good job Navalny. My only question is why the he'll did he go back?! He could have done far worse from outside Russia every day for his entire life. Less murder than suicide.

He went back because he was a courageous man willing to risk his life for his country and people. Comments like yours make me despair.

“In his 2022 documentary about Alexei Navalny, director Daniel Roher asked Navalny what message he would leave for the Russian people if he were killed. “Listen,” Navalny answered. “I’ve got something very obvious to tell you. You’re not allowed to give up. If they decide to kill me, it means that we are incredibly strong. We need to utilize this power to not give up, to remember we are a huge power that is being oppressed by these bad dudes. We don’t realize how strong we actually are.”
