The house I grew up in is an Eaton's Catalogue house built in 1917. The whole package was shipped to the local train station and the local builder put up the house.
Very cool anecdote RE: Kaltenborn in Russia. Was curious about this autobiography but had trouble searching it. Is it called "I Broadcast the Crisis"?
No, that's a different book (about his broadcasts during the war years). The autobiography is entitled "Fifty Fabulous Years."
