This is great. I will order an e-copy, but I'd love one of your gifts a signed copy. Now, not to unduly influence your random choice or anything my name id DOUG SIMMONS. I would have used large bold font, but couldn't. Seriously, I hope your book does well, lots of people read it, and tranquility continues in your home.
If this is how one joins the group for possibly being selected, count me in. In addition to looking forward with keen interest to the content, it would be a great bookend to my autographed copy of "Risk".
Congratulations Dan, will look for how to purchase your new book, but do please enter me in your book give away lottery at home with your dog! Meanwhile, superb thinking and writing - well worth the price of subscribing.
Kudos to Sam Johnson! Great perspective he - well, for a long dead guy.
I must say, I do hope that I am lucky enough to be one of the "winners." Why the quotation marks? Well, I have been spoiled by my computer and spend much time reading literate and erudite (sufficiently sucky?) informed commentary such as PastPresentFuture. And other lesser quality sources, newspapers, etc.
The problem is that I still have a number of hard copies of books (oh, I do love traditional books) to read (which I continue to do) and getting yours would simply put those other books further down the line of start/consider/argue/enjoy simply because your book goes to the front of the line. But I still hope to be a "winner" because - and, as an author I know you will agree - you can never have too many books.
There! Is that sufficiently sucky?
Ginsu knives? You do date yourself, Sir!
And, above all, congratulations on getting through the whole process. Your report to the "shareholders" [please advise your boss/manager/wife that I do not expect dividends this quarter] of Gardner Industries last fall was wonderful and had me awaiting this announcement.

Thanks, Doug. I'll put in a word for you with my dog.
Congratulations on the release Dan, looking forward to this one .
Ted Gioia wrote a good piece about Barnes And Noble in his “The Honest Broker”Substack if anyone is interested

I’ve ordered a copy and can’t wait to read it and see how I can apply it to my job (I’m a software developer so lots of projects)

Congratulations, Dan! Most of my best friends are blockheads, so I wouldn't hold it against you.
