Well said, thank-you! I think your point about remembering our mortality is particularly important when we live in a culture that tries at every turn to insulate us from the reality of death. The writer of Ecclesiastes would agree… “Better to spend your time at funerals than at parties. After all, everyone dies— so the living should take this to heart.”
